After the reception of the participants and a courtesy visit to the different heads of jurisdictions, the works were held on October 18, 2022, at the Clamz Hotel in Bertoua, under the coordination of the Representative of the Bar President for the Central, Eastern and Southern Regions. Me Fouegoum Adeline and Councillor Tamo David in charge of International Affairs.
A minute of silence was observed in memory of Me ZANGUE Martin before the playing of the national anthem and the welcome speech of the Dean of the Eastern Region.
The Representative of the Bar President then opened the proceedings, the agenda of which included: exchanges on the professional practice of the lawyer in the Eastern Region: difficulties encountered and good practices; and exchanges on the ethical obligations of lawyers. The works ended with the adoption of the resolutions, the word of the Treasurer and the closing word of the Representative of the Bar President.
The participants in the works also worked on the organization of the funeral of Me ZANGUE, the judicial tributes, the visit of the site as well as the practical arrangements and their cost. The day ended with a visit of condolences and comfort at the home of the deceased.
