On behalf of the Cameroon Bar Association, we address our sincere congratulations to Ehabe Samuel Eboa, Esq on the successful defence of his PHD thesis entitled:
“A Legal Appraisal of Sustainable Solid Waste Management in Cameroon: The Case of the Limbe and Buea Municipalities in Fako Division.”
This public defence took place on 29 April 2026 at the University of Buea, in the presence of numerous guests and lawyers, including the Secretary of the Cameroon Bar Association, ZANGUE Serges Martin, Esq and the Vice President of the General Assembly, Ewule Lyonga Esq
This outstanding academic achievement was accomplished under particularly challenging circumstances. In the candidate’s own words, the research was conducted under difficult conditions, notably due to the armed conflict in the South-West region and recurrent power outages that limited access to digital resources.

Beyond the scientific quality of the work, this achievement reflects exceptional resilience, remarkable rigour, and a deep commitment to excellence.
Through this achievement, the entire legal profession in Cameroon has distinguished itself, proving its ability to evolve, generate knowledge and overcome the challenges of a globalized legal environment. Indeed, an increasing number of Cameroonian lawyers are achieving this milestone.
The Bar Council, under the leadership of the President of the Bar Association, reaffirms its commitment to promoting excellence, continuous legal training and the prestige of the Cameroon Bar Association at both national and international levels.
Secretary of the Bar
Barrister ZANGUE Serges Martin
