It is under the prism of confraternity that was held the mini-tournament of soccer which opposed the teams of ABOUMUNA, NGONGO OTOU, AS BARREAU and MINSANTE.
These teams competed in a friendly manner over two successive weekends from August 20 to 27, 2022.
The beginning of the competition saw the team of AS BARREAU facing the team of NGONGO OTOU in the opening match. This first game was very disputed by both teams and ended with a score of 4-3 in favor of AS BARREAU during the penalty shootout. Their team thus won the first ticket of the final of this mini-tournament.
In the second game of the tournament, ABOUMANU team lost 6-0 to MINSANTE team, which received the last ticket to the final of the tournament.
The competition continued on Saturday, August 27, 2022. It began with a gala match as a prelude to the final. This match saw the invited team of the presidential guard to that of NGONGO OTOU. This confrontation will result in the victory of the presidential guard with a score of 2-1.
After this appetizer, the much awaited final between the AS BARREAU team and the MINSANTE team started under the eyes and encouragement of the Bar President and the Bar Secretary.
The match between the finalist teams was very close and ended in a draw of 3 goals all around (3-3) during the regulation time. The two teams then went to a penalty shootout, which resulted in AS BARREAU winning the mini-tournament by a score of 4 goals to 2 (4-2).
After the competition, the Bar President had the honour of handing over the winner’s trophy to the Captain of AS BARREAU.
To close the prize-giving ceremony, the players and the coaches of the winning team all received medals before moving on to the celebration of this tournament with all the participants and guests, around a special broth and a confraternity drink offered by AS BARREAU.
This moment of confraternal sharing ended with the programming of the next tournament which will take place during the next judicial vacations in 2023.
