THE BAR PRESIDENT'S COMMUNIQUE ON THE INSTITUTIONAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE VICTIMS OF THE TRAIN ACCIDENT OF OCTOBER 21st 2016
The President of the Cameroon Bar Association announces that in conformity with the social responsibility of the Bar and on his initiative, it has been put in place under the auspices of the Human Right Commission of the Bar, a BENEVOLENT JUDICIAL UNIT FOR HELP AND ASSISTANCE in favor of the fatal train accident that occurred at ESEKA on October 21st, 2016
The UNIT ' s mission comprises collecting, directing and providing information and legal advice to the said victims and affected persons. Provide data drawn from information sheets on consultation (Death, wounded, heirs and other material damages) above all to protect their interests.
The UNIT will comprise 6 stations in Yaoundé, Douala, Buea, Bamenda, Ngaoundere and Bafoussam operating through the following phone numbers by which the head of station will be contacted by interested persons, who shall collect the said numbers from the email address of the Human Right Commission of the Bar:

Given the sensitivity of the UNIT mission, an ethical code is being elaborated in view of ensuring the respect of ethical values as well as framing The PRO BONO Acts of lawyers working with the unit.
