Communique about general summit of young lawyers of the CIB Bars
My dear colleagues,
From 16 to 18 April 2018, in collaboration with the International Conference of Bar Associations of Common Legal Tradition (CIB) and with the support of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), the Cameroon Bar shall be organizing the first GENERAL SUMMIT OF YOUNG LAWYERS OF THE CIB BARS, in Yaoundé at Djeuga Palace Hotel.
On this occasion, young lawyers of the CIB Bars with their respective Bar Presidents will, for two days, take part in working sessions in plenary and in workshops on various topics such as:
1. The integration of a young lawyer into a Bar and into a Chamber
2. What are the specificities of the young lawyer's practice?
3. The young lawyer as a citizen: what place should he occupy in society?
4.The young lawyer and new technologies: "prospective" workshop ...
Lawyers representing the Cameroon Bar shall be appointed by an act of the Bar President and resolutions resulting from these working sessions will allow the CIB Bars to improve the conditions of professional practice of young lawyers in a context where markets requirements are constantly changing.
